Data Visualisation

The amount of data generated today has significantly increased compared to a decade ago. Thanks to the decrease in storage cost, availability of cloud storage, high speed internet access at low cost through wired and mobiles.

For a business it is critical to identify what data among this huge available data is important. Only connecting this data and making the best use of patterns in it, is going to prove the success.

Patterns in the data can be identified with traditional ways using excels, tables, etc. The best way would be to see the data in visuals. "Picture is worth a thousand words" – visuals derived from data can make it easy to identify patterns. Interactive graphs/charts are more effective. Softwares such as Microsoft Power BI, JMP or Tableau can make wonderful interactive data visualisations.
